It's true, every person does deserve these things, if they work for them.

I think you misunderstand. Every human being INHERENTLY (as in a permanent, unconditional way) deserves the basics needed to sustain life, regardless of their current level of employment. 

Because I, ya know, don’t think the elderly or disabled should starve.

You didn't explain "Jenny"... was that one of your workout tunes today?

snapthistiger:  Jenny was a song i listened to on Pandora while i was exercising this evening.  Jenny is also the name if my girlfriend while i was in college.  also, that song was popular while we were dating.  :-)
