My friend Gertrude the Guardian dared me to get to the very top of this pillar in exchange for a spare ancient core. I’ve been trying all day but it’s very slippery. I know it’s possible - I’ve seen deactivated guardians on the top of the Giant Columns near Hyrule Castle and I climb tall mountains all the time.

I guess I just need to BELIEVE in myself and lord Gan-I mean, the goddess Hylia.

So I made it to the top of that pillar from yesterday that Gertrude the Guardian dared me to climb. I gotta say, it’s a lot different here at the top than I thought it would be.

So yeah, ancient core earned! Suck it, Gertrude. You didn’t think I could do it, did you? Sure proved you wrong! Plus, I got a ride from some giant two-eyed Hinox-looking fella back home so I could rest all 6 of my feet.
