Getting back into the habit of sketching for fun. I find myself going back to drawing women from ancient China. There's something about the clothing, jewellery and hair that I just adore. Yes, perhaps it's also due to my healthy diet of Chinese period dramas and movies.

This lady here is inspired by the ladies from the Han Dynasty. Loosely tied hair and long flowing robes were a signature then. I'd like to think she has some tonic soup in her celadon glazed bowl, and she's going to enjoy it in her room.
