I’m gonna start a new blog called “Ptolemaic Period or Homegoods Farmhouse Chic?” (The chicken in specific cropped up later, record here.)

@randomitemdrop I submit for your consideration: Ancient Popsocket. 

[Description: a glazed terracotta wall tile, according to the Louvre; it is square with ridges along the outside and a fan design in the middle. Emerging from the very center is a cylinder with a rounded top that looks very much like a popsocket you’d stick on your phone. There is Elamite writing across the top of the popsocket.]
