“What are you?”
“I should be asking the same thing.”
You’re wandering around the caves having just suddenly bonded with an ancient spirit when all of sudden you run into a bug person. I think Bobbie can officially say her day has been rather odd.
So in an alternate timeline everyone has gone to The Forge except Bobbie who ran into the spirit of Metheus who she winds up bonding with her out of the interest of helping her friends, family and well everyone involved in The Constant, Bobbie is the one to first encounter Laika instead of Wilson.
Laika is rather perplexed by the lady though doesn’t draw her spear at her due to noting her garb is like that of her people. Not to mention the odd torch she is carrying. Laika swears she’s seen it before but can’t quite remember where at the moment of meeting Bobbie. though finding Bobbie is friendly and not threatening her she deems her safe.
Bobbie is just baffled by the creature before her and has taken note she is speaking in the creature’s tongue. Thankfully, Metheus is able to inform her it’s her native tongue she’s speaking and that the creature before her is a descendant of her people from long ago and she’s a friend, not a foe.
And thus a barrage of questions from both sides begins, all wanting answers about each other while making way for Laika’s village. If anyone is going to have answers about some things, it’s definitely the village chief/shaman.

(No character left behind. Of course Winona was going to get her own Ancient Skin. Just had to wait for her.)
I think I got just the music for this.
The Crystal Chamber
The light of our humble world faded long ago. Lost to the shadows of another. Oh Sol Weaver, we beg you, please, bring back what has been lost and restore the balance we long to see once again in our beloved Constant.
“Maxwell, why are you so wound up about this whole situation in regards to... whoever used to live down here?”
“It’s. NOTHING.”
“That wasn’t very convincing. Seriously, what’s the matter with you? Nothing has ever bothered you this much before.”
“... You try walking through a place that’s a constant reminder of why you even exist... and why you probably should have never existed. Now stop asking.”
Maxwell has issues... a lot of issues.
The adventures of Wilson and friends continues as they go about surviving in Their World. However this time, fate has lead them to the caves of the world. A place known for being mysterious and very dangerous in nature. Yet beneath it all lies a secret that has long since been forgotten by the sands of time.

What would happen if Laika and wilson swapped forms/ bodies for a few days?
Oh, both would probably be freaking out for a day or two and having a hard time adjusting to the forms. Especially in the leg department.
Wilson: OAe WHY!?
Laika: This feels wrong on SO many levels. O___e
Though Wilson looks oddly good as a Thulecitian… and Laika’s kind of cute as a red headed girl.
As for how this happened… I’m calling shenanigans and ruins juju.
