Whoa, look at that, I finished it!
Hex's original story had them rescued by Snapdragon from the facility they were created in, but I decided to rewrite it, or at least think of this animation as an au. That's why the comic I posted early on here implies a different story than this.
The idea here is that instead of Snap rescuing Hex shortly after their creation, Hex is left to be raised at the lab they were created in. Whether Snap wasn't aware of Hex's existence or they just didn't care to rescue the poor guy, I'm unsure of yet. Either way, Hex grows up in the lab being experimented on, with the growing desire to escape.
