I got pokemon mystery dungeon rescue team dx recently and felt like drawing my team leaders. I haven't gotten very far yet, but I've been enjoying it, and I love my little guys! They're so cute!!

I decided to draw Coast with a piece of driftwood instead of a typical bone, since their names are kinda beach themed!

New sona designs! again.. I'm indecisive and can't help it.

Anyways, one for a general sona design, and one specifically as a pokemon trainer design

I did color pick the color pallet from my poke/mewsona because I love her design so much, also why I kept the antenna.

She's timid but persistent, thought it sounded like a fun combo :)

I woke up this morning to find a natu in pokemon sleep, and for whatever reason I've grown so attached to her. So of course I gave her a name and turned her into an oc.

This is Nyx, and she uses sleep moves like dream eater, nightmare, and hypnosis. Don't ask why she can use those last two despite natu not knowing them/no longer being able to learn them, she's just a special guy <3

Whoa, look at that, I finished it!

Hex's original story had them rescued by Snapdragon from the facility they were created in, but I decided to rewrite it, or at least think of this animation as an au. That's why the comic I posted early on here implies a different story than this.

The idea here is that instead of Snap rescuing Hex shortly after their creation, Hex is left to be raised at the lab they were created in. Whether Snap wasn't aware of Hex's existence or they just didn't care to rescue the poor guy, I'm unsure of yet. Either way, Hex grows up in the lab being experimented on, with the growing desire to escape.

Working on something with an oc I haven't used in a while.

Looking back, I dont think I ever officially revealed their name, so say hello to Hex! I'll share more about them later on :)

I'm a few weeks late but better late than never, here's my art summary for last year!

I had a lot of fun. Made a ton of new ocs, redesigned a few, played around with new poses, and tried branching out to doing more than just solid colored backgrounds. I feel like I improved quite a bit with my art last year, and I'm excited to see the progress I made this year!

Guess who updated their sona! It's me, I did. She didn't change too much from her previous design, but I'm more than ok with that c:
