as an person with ADHD, comparing the diagnosis I have to traits Lupin, Lily and especially James show is the worst insult I had seen in my whole life. 100% of James' personality is being privileged, abusive and a dudebro.

Girl, you know I get angry, but it’s usually over political stuff but honestly, I saw that comment and I felt PERSONALLY attacked. Like, are you seriously telling me ADHD excuses being a privileged, borderline violent piece of shit??? At what point does James Potter show any signs of having ADHD? At what point does Lily Evans?? It’s like when people compare being schizophrenic to being a serial killer, it’s straight-up offensive. I’m sorry, but there are literally tons of characters in tons of fictional works who could align with ADHD traits without being violent, classist, abusive brats. Compare yourself to them if you want, but don’t drag my diagnosis into it to try and HUMANIZE and WHITEWASH and MAKE MORE LIKEABLE a bunch of oppressive abusers.

I’m having a bit of a moment here because I also left my meds at home and haven’t taken them in days and god, the overreaction is real, but just WOW, please, keep that bullshit of trying to make abusers more “relatable” through my psychiatric diagnoses away from me. It makes me feel like absolute shit.

I shouldn't have gone to the office today, I was supposed to have lunch with a friend and stayed at home in the morning.

She had an emergency and missed the lunch. I thought about keeping working from home but... Kaori was such a pain in the ass today that I just fast dressed myself, throw the Mac in the backpack and ran away before they could realize what was happening.

I love those two, but I definitely needed a break.
