This is how I feel about non teenage adults who date 18 year olds and 19 year olds.

I'm not suspicious because I think the 18 year old isn't a real adult or because I'm looking down on them, I'm not. I'm suspicious of your intentions. Why are you dating the lowest legal age? Why do you seem to have a pattern of dating people this age?

This suspicion isn't a judgement on the maturity of teenagers, it's a judgement on the intentions of grown-ass adults.

The older I get the more i realize my hatred of certain white or white coded characters isn’t really hatred of said characters and more of the fact that I know black and brown characters who don’t do a third of the shit they do or act anywhere close to as entitled or annoying will NEVER get the same grace justifications or excuses for their behavior.
