Whenever I see one of those posts (on any social media app) explaining why two people are secretly gay for each other and/or in a relationship with absolute seriousness and certainty it always makes me laugh cause the evidence they use is just how me and my friends treat each other.
I feel like that just makes the two people just really good friends who aren’t afraid to show their love for each other, it’s just most people still don’t have a grasp on platonic love especially when it’s shown by two men or a man and a woman but also including any combination of any gender and number of people. Plus some people take shipping too seriously when really at the end of the day it should just be a little fun not actually debating the lives of random strangers.
However, I will happily accept that me and my friends might just be in a relationship so secret that our gay asses don’t even know about it. That is also very plausible.
So... I've been gone for awhile, haven't I? Finals have me on a fucking chokehold right now. But, I have about two-ish weeks left of school (yay!)
Ill probably start being more active now that I've gotten my shit in order, and am passing all my classes, somehow. I'll start answering asks again, albeit slowly, as I need to ease back into this shit, lmao

Ya’ll ever lowkey hate on something until a little while later when you’ve had a bit of time to ponder about it, cuz like, that’s such a common experience for me. It was like this with, just to name a few:

•Inside Out 2, I was SUCH a hater walking out of the cinema. While I do still hold a few of my criticisms(for example the actual usefulness of nearly all the new emotion, ie less so fulfilling and matching their roles as the emotions they’re assigned and more just acting as characters for the original emotions to bounce off of plot-wise, etc), idk why I was such a hater of them using hockey as the main plot instead of something more universal. Past me, dawg, thats literally so unimportant. It was literally just a vessel for the more universal message(perfectionism and burning out) to be delivered in 😭 media literacy sometimes takes a bit of loading time guys
•…the decision to restart the cast all the way back to childhood post-killing the tree in Our Wonderland. Initally I didn’t really consider the narrative and symbolic implications of it and felt „betrayed” that all the character development + growth was „for nothing”. While it partially is by the very nature of the twist, narratively that is LITERALLY THE POINT(overanalaysed this in that one post about the drive towards „true(best) endings” in VNs and how that related to both Our Wonderland and Iggy as a protagonist).
