Never in a million years will I feel nostalgic about high school. It is not going to happen. I hate these people.
I Fucking Hate Monkeys
I'm so sad, I went to the zoo today and my friends wouldn't let me go to the gift shop because they wanted to look at monkeys
âLydia may be considered as an adult but she is in high school, so technically she is still a minor until she graduatesâ â a TRAGEDY in one act, written by Marrish haters (who still donât know a shit about the law)
So, after the idiots realized that Lydia is an adult, they came out with this shit. Let me crush it <3
First of all, it really PAINS me, that people canât understand a simple fact that 18Â means legal no matter if the person graduated or not. You canât be technically or partially legal. LAW. DOESNâT. WORK. THAT. WAY. FOR. GODâS. SAKE.
But ok, we need sources.
Letâs look a t the CSBA. Whatâs the legal status of an 18 year old student? âWhen a student attains adult status at the age of 18, he/she is granted by law the right to sign all legal documents related to school and to represent himself/herself in all dealings with the school. (âŚ) The 18-year old student shall assume the rights and responsibilities normally accorded to adults in all matters involving the school.â (source) Oops, someone is treated like an adult here!
What about students still living with parents? (From an article about high school, 18 year old students)
âWhile you may still see a child who leaves socks on the floor and forgets to take out the trash, your child is now legally an adult. (âŚ).âThere is a major change legally once a child is of legal age,â Luftman (he is a criminal defense attorney) says. Once your child has turned 18, she will be charged as an adult for even minor offenses. Luftman adds, âThe parent is no longer required to be there, and they often do not know their child has been charged. They are often left out of the decision-making process with respect to their childâs case.â (source)  Oops! Still living with parents, still attending schools but considered as adults, whoops!Â
And lets see how employers have to treat differently minors and 18Â year old students:
âFederal law limits the amount of hours a minor works. Minors may not work more than three hours a day during the school year. Additionally, they may not work more than 18 hours a week. Federal law prohibits minors from working during school hours. These rules do not apply to employees once they turn 18, however, even if they are still in high school.â (source) Why? Because 18Â year old students who are still studying ARE FREAKING LEGAL ADULTS.
A bonus from my friend who is in a law school: âTechnically illegal" is a silly phrase used by tumblr obsessed sex starved and in denial about it fangirls. Let me tell you any lawyer worth their salt is gonna laugh his/her ass off if they heard that. (Amen to that)
You know, it took me only about 20 minutes to find all of this. 20 minutes. Apparently the apes, who call themselves Marrish haters, donât know how Google works. If they knew, they would have simply shut the fuck up already.Â
Thank you for your attention.
has anyone else noticed how mostly white cishet men seem to survive the end of the world?
