Rumspringa: Chapter 18
IT'S HERE!! THE FINAL CHAPTER!! i'm nervous n excited n aughhggh
Excerpt:
The timer set, he glanced down at his clothes, now covered in flour, and sighed. He looked down at where Tangerine, Gerald, and Socks watched him curiously, all eyeing his hands in hopes that something edible may reach them. “I need to change,” he told them. “Can I trust you on your own?” They blinked in unison, and Tangerine let out a small squeak. “Yeah, okay, I’ll clean first. But then I need to change!”
I do not need to write an AU where Kakashi somehow discovered bread baking as a means of relaxing and ended up retiring from ANBU and opening a bakery and accidentally becoming more emotionally stable and happy. And he comes up with jutsus to help with baking in his spare time because he really likes the idea of inventing techniques that help people instead of kill them because he doesn’t really want the chidori to be his only legacy. And the Sandaime somehow blackmails him into coming out of retirement to train Team 7 (because you’re the only one left with any sort of knowledge about the sharingan, Kakashi). And Sasuke is super offended about being taught by a retired shinobi baker of all things. And Sakura is bewildered that their sensei seems to have a bread metaphor for EVERYTHING. And Naruto just thinks it’s really awesome that the guy who gives him day old loaves of bread for free is also an awesome ninja.
Damn it, I really want to write this ridiculous nonsense.
baking my problems away today.
