HEADCANON.

             slightly expanding on the last headcanon: eve has problems with sensory overload, primarily when it comes to sound. her brain struggles to differentiate between noises and choose one to focus on, unable to sift and sort through the person speaking to her, the conversations of others around them, and other miscellaneous sounds. she’s very quick to get overwhelmed and it’s not impossible that you’ll have to get closer to her, possibly in her face, to get her focus. when this happens it’s fairly obvious as she’ll likely be completely silent, start wringing her hands, and stare off. unable to focus, her brain usually shuts off and mixes everything into a confusing blur.
