ok so we know that steve definitely idolized tom cruise as like, a celeb who's looks he liked to emulate (likely mainly spurred on bc of nancy's crush on him) but can we talk about how "lead singer of A-Ha, Morten Harket" coded he is? because oh my god i was looking at pictures of him on pinterest and just LOOK at this guy?

i just KNOW steve harrington was OBSESSED with him. probably had pictures cut out from magazines stashed in a lil folder for ye olde outfit inspo and because he maybe perhaps had a bit of a crush on him and would scour the shops trying to recreate his looks. not to mention, he was def a huge inspo for what became the iconic harrington hair. and yes before you ask, steve did become absolutely insufferable when take on me dropped
