like it would be nice if he could use it as a stepping stone to getting better, but a lot of shit has gone down there and i don't think he would want to stay there for a long period of time.
he was obviously only there before because it was the only thing he had left. but now it's been violated by the hunters.
i'd really like it if he could tear it down and start fresh. salt and burn it or something so all those metaphorical demons can be purged. he'll never be alright, but it's a step forward.
or build or buy a house that has no ties whatsoever to his old one. someplace where he can build his new pack. some place that's not old or falling apart or lacking basic necessities like water and electricity. some place where he can raise a pack and they can have sleepovers and be safe and know that nothing is going to happen.
basically i want to know why derek keeps picking these shitty locations to hold up in, especially when everyone and their brother knows where he's living.
