As someone who decorates with framed insects, found animal bones, teeth, and antlers, I always take personal offense when Alastors room is described as gross in fics. Like, excuse me, bones are cool, and they are cleaned, or else they don't hold up for decorating. (Also, I just realized I have several antique radios in here too. No wonder I like him so much. I just want to steal his decor)
