Okay. Okay. I can keep my chill. (I cannot.) This fic, you guys-- THIS FIC!!! I participated in this year's @hdowlpost fest, a lowkey holiday gift exchange, and when I threw out the prompt of "magical dating game" I genuinely didn't have any clue what extraordinary things my anon gifter would be able to do with it.
Now, to be fair, it's tailored to a lot of my fic likes: humor and banter, pining, Auror partners drarry, fun magical theory, UST. (The list goes on. Lol) But even if it hadn't been, even if it had been something that didn't have any of my fallback drive-me-happy/crazy things in it, god -- the writing itself would have been enough. It was funny and sharp and fantastically characterized, and I want to stitch it on a quilt and wrap myself up in it, istg. (Well. I'd hire someone else to, because I don't have a shred of crafting talent. But still.)
This fic was to die for, and I'm giddy right now, legit giddy that it was written for me. It has got to be admired and loved by everyone else too, so oh please, go read the thing! 😍😍
