For the song ask game: I’d like to know your favourite Pink Floyd song (I’m listening to them right now😂)

Hello, it's so so, but getting an ask always brings a smile on my face <3

Pink Floyd... Omg, I didn't listen to a lot of them. Only a few songs and one album so far, but like dad took the best of care to let me know about them since I was little - he has The Wall album, I gotta steal it from him one day XD

So for now the answer for this question would be "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". The whole thing, not only the first half. 26 minutes of a beautiful melody. Now I know it's divided in parts and that's what makes it so special and good to listen to me. It changes constantly.

From the moody beginning to the first note of the guitar and the moment when drums get in, setting the mood even better than it was. And the lyrics. Simple, not complicated, they just get stuck in my head, you know, for mainly one reason, that I can somehow connect to it. It talks about change, how a person can drastically change.

I somehow feel connection to that, probably because of what I went through. Nothing too drastic, but I can see that I was fine in my childhood, then came the chaos and now I came back to the point I left myself in the primary school, just finding myself. Plus I really like Roger Barrett so that's an additional thing that makes this song a favorite of mine.

I might not know a lot about him yet, but like with a few artists I like and love, something just pushes me to him. I can't really explain it, sorry XD
