Thinking about the possibility of Weird Route Susie "I've never gotten pick for anything before/No one wanted to be my partner in class" having to witness Noelle, her crush whom she was going to take to the festival, going with Kris, whom she considers her ride or die and and best friend.
We talk a lot about Susie's trust issues and how she'll feel when she's betrayed, but I don't really see people discussing Susie's selfesteem issues when it comes to people choosing her.
I just think it's going to sting, that's it
Time Travel Au
This little au has been plaguing me for months. I finally wrote a small scene about it, but it makes absolutely no sense without the context.
Everything goes along the plot of the movie, right to this moment
just wanted to share this gif :)
Rumi teleports to Namsan Tower, but she is too late - right when she enters the pitch, she sees how Gwi-ma consumes Mira and Zoey.
In her desperation, anger and panic, she screams, and it is the loudest, the most powerful scream she'd ever produced. So powerful that it rips time-space and throws her spirit to a similar distortion - her first scream on top of their penthouse
The girls are alive and well, if a little confused; Honmoon is fed and holding strong; nobody heard about Saja Boys yet; Rumi's patterns are exactly at the state they were on the failed Golden release.
After she calmed down, took some time and help from Zoemira, Rumi started to think:
No matter what happens to her, she will not allow anything bad to happen to Zoey and Mira;
Because What it Sound Like never happened and the last time she saw Mira and Zoey, they point their blades at her, she is absolutely assured that they will never accept her, no matter what (more her trauma speaking, than the rationale);
Jinu is irredeemable - his actions led to the deaths of Zoey and Mira (Rumi can forgive Takedown, but not this);
Because Jinu is irredeemable - all demons are irredimable - and that means that Rumi herself is irredimable;
Because she is an irredeemable demon, golden Honmoon is unachievable for this generation - this condemns her, but it also frees her.
And, while she cannot create the golden Honmoon anymore, there is something she can do to avoid the future she ran away from.
She can kill Jinu.
Not saying the girls anything, she repeats the route to Han, as in the original timeline, but alone, this time. And she destroys Saja Boys right in that alley.
Mira and Zoey are disstresed enough just from failed Golden. When Rumi histerically run to them, crying, and hugging them like never before - right after she run away, 15 minutes before the release of Golden - they begin to worry.
When Rumi said that she know how to cure her voice, but she must go to the healer alone, they want to argue, but Rumi is adamant.
When she returns a few hours later, limping, crying, obviously wounded, they want to help. Rumi shuts them down, not letting them near her. Like she is scared of them.
They wait at her door until they hear Rumi crying, and then it's too much to stay away, even if Rumi asks them. Door is not locked. Rumi is crying on her bed, wearing layer upon layer of clothes, wounds already dressed.
They lie on both sides of her, hugging her close. Not knowing what happened, what is happening still, or what to do with all of that, they said the only thing they are absolutely sure of, "We love you, Rumi."
They absolutely mean it. Of course, they do. They love Rumi in any and all ways. And Rumi hears their conviction - how absolutely sure they are of this declaration.
And it breaks Rumi. Because, in her head, it's very conditional. Their love is there just until they see the patterns. Rumi believes them, but she also believes that they will still turn on her. And it makes it worse.
Now that golden Honmoon is out of the question, the only thing Rumi really wants is to spend more time with her girls. But, Jinu's death is still weighing on her immensely, and her patterns grow way faster.
okay I finished the vampire lestat book not very long after the season ended, so I kinda Cant Not compare the two, and I havent seen anyone bring this up at all yet? so
I dont really understand how or why the decision was made to have Marius be or claim to be at fault for akasha and enkil being left out in the sun or the fact that it happened here at all?? because, this IS an event from the book; akasha and enkil were left out in the sun which made vampires across the world burn up even when the sun was down or they were safe in their coffins.... except this is an event that had happened nearly 2 thousand years before lestat even meets Marius. this is the event that is the Whole Reason Marius was turned in the first place, and the whole reason Marius took the job of keeping akasha and enkil from the guy that Did leave them in the sun. and this, as far as i can tell, is supposed to be something that is so devastating to the vampire race, because many died and those who didn't were too injured to hunt, and stayed injured because they Couldn't hunt.
so my question is: why? why would Marius be their keeper if this hadnt happened before? even if it did happen before, why would Marius be careless enough to leave them in the sun Again?? why is this information that is literally swept past so insanely fast? like wdym this isn't devastating? wdym lestat and gabi are fine bc they just jumped into a lake? youre joking. like genuinely what the fuck are you talking about
Alina Varvyanskaya is unreal
I just got my second doll from her yesterday, and. OK I need to emphasize that this doll is approximately the size of a Barbie. Maybe slightly taller, but still very slender
Tiny tiny boots with functional laces
Tiny tiny WORKING POCKETS??? The patch pockets are real as well???
To be perfectly honest I'm not even sure how I'm going to get these buttons closed without a specialized tool, but I'm going to do my damnedest and I respect the hell out of that, as someone who once made working buttons out of seed beads
Easily my favorite resin BJD artist, and I think she might be insane in the best way possible
the fabled fandom divide gooseworx talked about truly was those with media literacy vs those without
