Notices from Brody’s last show!!

Act 1:

- They waited for all the preshow music to play then Brody came out in the silence

- standing ovation for Brody before the show even started during the tire walk up

- “yall are doing too much”

- Brody clapped when he introduced Sky/Johnny, causing a huge applause for him

- Brody did the “don’t” in the jumping scene with such fearful desperation

- People cheered when Jason took his shirt off, and Brody made this face that basically was like “yeah ok fair enough”

- The energy in grease got a hold was electric

- When Jason did the licking your gets motion then stuck his fingers towards Brody, Brody started flicking his tongue around by Jason’s fingers

- “Hey dad!”

- As Brody was exiting during RITF, he used his cigarette to give Darrel the finger

- Brody and Jason sat in the exact same position and whistled together at the Ann Margaret line

- Thank you great expectations opt up

- Brody started whistling when he was strolling to sit with Cherry and Marcia

- Brody and Emma were all smiles during I could talk to you all night

- Brody took a drink of two bit’s can, lowered it, then lifted it and took another drink before RITFR

- Dan’s RITFR>>>>>>

- Far away from Tulsa felt a little extra special and connected today imo

Act 2:

- ok Marbit JFT crumbs I see you

- Death’s at my door.

- Going with the previous, the hug today was everything, they did the normal side hug where Brody kinda tucks himself into Sky, but this time Sky put both arms around Brody and they held onto each other for a good while, then Brody playfully pushed Sky off and laughed

- Before they fully turned away and the focus went to the Darrel Dally scene, Sky turned so his back was to the audience but paused and leaned his side against Brody and they kinda side hugged again

- Dan was going through it during throwing in the towel, fully crying from the start to the end

- Brody’s last poem scene 🥺🥺

- Sequoiia’s delivery of “Jesus Christmas your hair” was everything

- Brody was standing so close to Sky in the hospital scene and kept his hand super close but not quite touching

- Dan Darrel was instantly checking on his brothers right after the rumble

- Brody was getting a little choked up during the little brother monologue

- I love Dan’s approach in the scene right before soda’s breakdown because it feels like he transitions from trying to be an authoritative parental figure into a softer tone but still bluntness because he doesn’t know what else to do

- Brody’s shut ups were timed really interestingly and I loved the delivery

- It sounded like Emma was on the verge of tears when she left the brothers house after dropping off Johnny’s clothes

- Brody was audibly crying into Johnny’s stuff

- Going with the above, he only stopped when he tapped soda’s leg and took Johnny’s letter

- Sky was crying during his delivery of the “there’s still a lot of time to make yourself what you want, Ponyboy”

- Brody took a moment before he did his “I love being a greaser” lines

- During the finale, Brody and Sky kinda looked at each other and Sky nodded at Brody from the top of the car

Other:

- Danya Taymour, Justin Levin, and Eli Talley all appeared to be watching from SRO (at least during act 1 and intermission)
