depending on who confesses first it’d be so different deadass

if ike were to say so first boyd would absolutely be cocky about it until ike in-turn asked boyd how he felt about him- then he’d be trying to dodge a direct answer and would be a bit fidgety (probably at some point trying to leave with the excuse he had to do something with ike just yanking him back). boyd would probably be too stubborn to outright say it so ike would just pick up on the Very Obvious hints that boyd felt the same about him (definitely over time boyd would be more comfortable with just outright saying “bro i love you so much what the fuck”)

tho ike confessing first is probably the more probable ver. boyd confessing would probably seem like he’s trying to pry a bandaid off himself- just say it quickly and leave. ofc like in the first one ike would just yank boyd back before he could walk past him and get him to repeat himself (i dont doubt he’d literally have to wrestle boyd to repeat himself, boyd insisting that ike just forget about it). once boyd’s calmed down (somehow) he’d just look ike square in the face and tell him everything about how he feels
