remember when ike threw hands with the ten year old on path of radiance?
actually boyd was about to do the exact same thing. he always had a high sense of justice, would proudly proclaim about it when they emerge victorious against the bad guys during their mercenary days. like everyone else in the greil merc, he could not stand that elincia was being insulted like that, esp when it's for the funsies. boyd was visibly shaking in fury. he would have actually stepped up first before ike, but the thing is oscar had to physically hold his little brother back while giving him a dark dangerous look that says, "boy, if you open your mouth this instance, you are so going to get grounded when this war is over"
and then ike did exactly what boyd would have done. everyone was too shocked at this extreme act of bravery that the little commander was putting on that no one was able to stop him as he crashes out. not even titania, who's also this close to throwing hands, respectfully.
and you know what? what if boyd fell for ike on that moment, lol-
