Neil and Aaron becomes friends through Katelyn!!!!

(she's not actually all that bad, she's better than average at math, likes languages, and her comebacks for anyone talking shit about her Minyard is damn near on par with some of Neil's best roasts and Neil respects that™️)

Katelyn forces Aaron to let Neil tutor him at the library turns into Aaron helping Neil with his English assignments and correcting his grammar/spelling on all his assignments over their mutual lunch break

(neither of them claim to know who's idea it was to start having lunch together)

Half the lunch is spent criticizing each other's food choice and the other is spent with Aaron going over spelling mistakes while Neil's running commentary on some of the other jocks in the cafeteria

Even now theyre not the best of friends but they definitely don't hate each other like they tried so hard to in the beginning

Aaron still says rude shit about and to Neil, who respond in kind, but it's lacking majority of the animosity of freshman/sophomore year. This happens frequently around the other foxes, especially when they go out of their way on movie nights to accommodate Neil when he's paying more attention to Andrew than anyone else

SPEAKING OF FOXES!!! None of the main foxes have pointed onto the fact that neilaaron have a budding friendship going on, anytime they pass them in the cafeteria they assume it's Andrew and hardly approach.

the only ones to notice the lack of constant animosity and change is Renee and Andrew and neither speak on it except for Andrew mockingly asking Neil what the cheerleader thinks of his and Aaron's lunch dates
