#Welcome to the wild side is honestly one of the funnest things to write so I hope more people give it a chance #:')) I know reader insert smut is the most popular kind of fic I can write #but it gets tiresome....writing smut fic after smut fic #I just want some humor #and drama #and that's what wttws is #I plan to actually give it a plot after things are settled in #and keep it going #at least that's what I hope #like oh baby but without random sex scenes...#well maybe #idk if that's how the plot progresses than their might be some but #who knows

Watching a bunch of reviewers (and fans) of Killjoys applaud the show for not backing away from the potential incest while at almost exactly the same time rant about how gross it would be for two non-related characters to become romantic is a whole new level of YIKES.

#one reviewer had it in pretty much the same tweet and sentence #incest mention #and like look at it objectively for one second here #look at what you and are not approving of by this comparison #killjoys talk #i was thinking a lot about tv reviewing lately #(just in a missed my chance to even know it was a thing i could make a career out of kind of way)#but yikes #so much of it bs #just seeing the reviewers for the shows i watch makes me hate the whole thing #bc it's different to movie and book reviewing which i was more familiar with #so much of it is just a subset of entertainment reporting #so if you want that access you gotta build that rapport with the creators #and keep it going #90% of it is just a hype machine rather than honest reviewing #(okay this is two rants in one post here but i stand by it as at least being related)
