I don’t know how white people do it. A white man does the barest minimum and they think it’s groundbreaking and deserves praise. A white woman only needs to regurgitate a thesaurus to be considered smart and well-spoken. Meanwhile a lot of the top schools in the country require us Asians to be valedictorians, athletes, national awardee, student council president, student volunteer at your local community all at the same time to be considered since they’re scared we might dominate the school population.

They're defining lazy if they don't recast Sokka, but more than anything I think this happened because of ignorance and lack of research.
