It's a little humbling how much I love rules and following them. I love routine so much that im loyal to some of the most simple rules and regulations . Especially for rewards but even more embarrassingly not even .

is it too obvious i am autistic?, i ask, after making a f/o list that is color coded and specifying 4 of my choices, adding even a warning regarding the ones i havent finished so there is no miscommunication
oh also today i downloaded a bunch of music too and went outside so id say productive overall
Likes are great and all but they hardly suffice to keep track of my fave stuff.. Having to scroll through miles upon miles of posts to find posts.
In that regard bookmarks on the bird aren't much better tbh.. I started using dms as a secondary "bookmark folder" &dming myself the tweets I'm most interested in revisiting.
I'd love a real bookmark system, ideally one where one can create folders.. subfolders would be even better, but I guess that'd get complicated?😆(l only have a very basic idea of how a platform like this is built😅)
And again.. Lists! I love lists🥺
Having the ability to split the feed between interests.. yes I get that following tags goes in that direction, but it's not the same as (for example) keeping a special list of your fave artist accounts to keep up with them.
I mean, I even thought about adding my own specialised tags to reblogs for that purpose but I'm not sure how feasible that method really would be..😅
Now I just had the idea of using pinterest for this😆 idk...🤪
Or have I missed something?🫣🤔 How're other peeps doing things?
8, 14 and 19 :D

8.) Favorite genre to write?
Mmm that's hard to pick but probably fantasy. Cyberpunk was my first foray into anything vaguely futuristic (beyond watching Star Wars when I was younger), and I was surprised by how much I liked it (and the rest of the genre?) I've never really been into Star Track/Mass Effect, but in general sci fic isn't usually my thing. I also really like historical stuff--I have a serious soft spot for Victorian pieces (especially if there's a horror element involved--Penny Dreadful/the like).
14.) Do you make playlists for your current wips?
Not the stories themselves, but definitely for the characters! It's usually the first thing I make when I'm trying to brainstorm/come up with a rough outline for them, and definitely impacts their appearances/backstory/personality. I have an embarrassing amount of character playlists on spotify --Hiro's is like six-ish hours long? And his is one of the shorter ones 😅 It also gives me something to have on in the background when I'm trying to write about specific characters. I hate writing in dead silence and always need at least a little bit of background noise.
19.) When it comes to more complicated narratives, how do you keep track of outlines, characters, development, timeline, ect.?
Aside from character playlists, I always make a document with basic biographical details, small pieces from the dialogue from the characters, ect--it also lists their relationship with other characters, backstory, quirks--just everything about that character so I have it conveniently located in one spot. I also use pinterest/make moodboards of my character, particularly if I want to draw them later. I usually make my playlists/mood boards first and write out a document later--a lot of early inspiration for me is usually visual.
Thanks for asking! This was fun 😘
my mum came into my room the other day, and saw my sticky note that I put on my wall that’s basically screaming at me “HEY, U GOT THIS!” and she was like “... yeah... you do :)”
