I am pooped. The last Market of the week was last night. Took a slow pace today, and I'm hoping tomorrow's the same. Saturday and Sunday need to be full on rest. I need to have energy for when the baby makes their appearance!

this has been in my mind for a bit now but i don't know if i'll write it so posting it here instead

kwami swap from the beginning. adrien gets tikki and the ladybug miraculous, and marinette gets plagg, and it's also reverse crush, so adrien likes marinette who actually borderline genuinely hates adrien (for being friends with chloé on purpose), and miss fortune has the fattest crush on élytres and élytres has the greatest appreciation of his partner (but all platonic!)

anyway, so obviously, tikki can't get cookies to recharge so adrien spends so so so much time in the garden so tikki can snack on bugs and bask in the sun. he finds himself talking to the statue of his mother, smelling the roses, and generally enjoying life a lot more with the sun and being surrounded by nature, and the garden becomes his safe spot. he also ends up having a mini-garden in his room by the windows and talks to the plants and grows his own strawberries

one day he's with miss fortune and their kind-of one-sided conversation turns to desserts and adrien off-handedly mentions how his kwami likes cookies but he's not allowed to have any sweets as a civilian, and the next time they meet up, she's brings him cookies. one for him and one for tikki. adrien internally combusts and thanks her profusely and hugs her and marinette actually combusts and does not function for the whole day, and eventually, she just starts bringing three cookies (one for herself), and when there's a kid akuma, she feels bad and gives the kid one of hers and the kid loves it, and she starts bringing cookies everywhere and becomes paris' cookie-dealer

Anyway at 3:30 am I fumbled one and he unhinged his jaw and ate it like a boa constrictor while I tried to pry it out of his mouth. He’s apparently not the first cat to do this and the Internet Vets said there wasn’t anything toxic but... I think we’re on his third or fourth life already
