Lol yes! It was a fantastic job. I had a falconry license and everything. It’s long since expired, though. Probably lol.

I started there when I was a little tiny sixteen-year-old girl and I did everythingggg. All by myself and without supervision 😅.

I took care of all types of birds of prey- falcons, eagles, owls, kestrels, hawks…everything. Every day I had to capture them individually and hand feed them individually on a glove (I still have scars on my hands and arms 😂). Then give them whatever medical treatments they needed and clean their enclosures. There were also other animals there like bears, mountain lions, bobcats, horses, small mammals, doves, pigeons, reptiles…pretty much whatever got dropped off. I took care of them all.

They trained me very well but sometimes I look back and I’m like omg why did they let me do all that shit by myself 😭😂. But I’m also sorta glad they did because I think that work really significantly shaped me as a person in a positive way.
