Bringing this to any fellow academic people because I’m currently experiencing the anxiety levels of someone being hunted for sport and can’t focus on anything else

So I emailed my thesis supervisor a week and a half ago about arranging an initial chat to establish a research timetable and iron out any creases with my proposal. She didn’t reply so I emailed again at the beginning of this week and still haven’t received a response. The deadline for submitting an approval for ethics is May, which is something I really need to discuss as I have the potential to include interviews in my thesis but obviously can’t do without ethical approval. As well as this, the subject of my thesis is up in the air a bit and there’s a real possibility I’ll have to come at it from a new angle, which again is something I can’t do without tweaking my research title and proposal with my supervisor.

How long should I allow before reaching out to someone else? Should I contact my Advisor of Studies to see if there’s anything he can possibly do to help?
