sitting in the library (trying to study) and glancing up (please, something, give me a distraction from studying) just to see that nearly every other student has chatgpt or gemini open and they’re using it to draft emails, discussions or get answers for the new calculus homework (what has this world become) and immediately looking down onto my open notebook (full of spider-font-written notes and calculations) and picking up my pen (there is an error in this calculation, i should have multiplied with x, not y) to write some more (ink smudges on my hands tell the tale of me vs calculus) and to never, ever, look up and into the face of ai again (the answer is there, right in front of me)
