The more I think about Dispatch, the more I fall in love with Waterboy. Not in a romantic sense or something, but in a "this is my spirit animal and is a perfect representation of who I am inside"

Has Gabriel considered that maybe he just needs some hot soup and a sandwich and maybe a blanket and then he will feel better or at the very least not feel any worse
in gabriel's mind he has not done anything that lets him deserve some hot soup and a sandwich and maybe a blanket u-u he has to EARN IT so until then he suffers (wdym this is a self-perpetuating cycle of misery and stress)
every time i replay or watch more of chapter 3 of deltarune the whole thing just gets a little more unsettling. the dark world being so small makes it feel genuinely claustrophobic at times. the fun of it feels like its 0.2 seconds from falling apart. which it is, in terms of tenna and kris needing to keep up the ruse, the whole thing with sword route, and kris home life in general.
with the dark worlds, we know theyre manifestations of determination, will, and desire. so to a degree, a dark world will be influenced in tone and content by the lightener who created it. im not sure if that means kris sees the dark worlds as a whole as unsettling, home, or both. but i think it doesnt much matter which you pick since all would be very telling about kris as a character.
i'm barely a few weeks into school break and i'm already sooo tired of pretending that everything is okay
'm gonna call Paynland " ineffable lovechild and his soulmate" in my head from now on.
FYI you can just watch 1995 persuasion on YouTube if you want— at least you can in the UK, subject to region blocking potentially I dunno
