It's canon to me that when MC has a particularly stressful day, whether it be getting her ass chewed out when fighting a Wanderer, struggling to accept Caleb and Grandma's death, or just feeling low in general...she'll go to Sylus' doorstep.

She doesn't know why, doesn't know how, but everytime he opens that door, she'll have tears in her eyes and her heart will ache, and Sylus will hold her when she cries, bringing her to his organ set to play her lullaby until she falls asleep in his arms. MC knows every lyric, anticipates every part of it... but never grows tired of it. She even allows Sylus to hum off tune as he plays the organ, hearing the quick pace of his heart alongside the gentle vibration of his chest. What was it about this song?

She will fall asleep, and she will dream of datura leaves, black horns, and beating wings. That song, so maddeningly familiar, will guide her through this dream, until it all shatters, and she is awake again.

She is awake, and she is crying for reasons she doesn't understand, but there Sylus is again. Waiting for her.
