Wait, what? Is there actually shipping discourse between boyf riends and expensive headphones? I ship both, because I think they’re both awesome but in different ways but I didn’t there was any fighting over it. Is it serious, or it it pretty minor? Asking as someone who just got out of a fandom due to the toxic shipping wars and is in no mood to enter another one.
That really depends on who you surround yourself with. I only know about the discourse because I frequently visit the ship’s hashtag and I see a lot of boyf fans spamming the exp head hashtag with their boyf riends content and their distaste for expensive headphones. Exp head shippers just kinda mind their own business. They don’t respond to the hate at all, or at least that’s what I’ve seen so far. So if anything, it’s more of a one-sided discourse.
