Gently he held Lucas hand and pecked it, then pinned Lucas hands to the mattress, just putting enough pressure for him to hold himself but leaving enough room for Lucas to squirm free if he so desired. He kissed Lucas deeply, pulling on his lower lip, before trailing his lips down to his chin, then to his neck and adam's apple, down to his collarbone where he placed kisses down to his navel. 

He gave a quick look to Lucas, to see if he was still comfortable, as he released one of his hands and trailed his hand down to the hem of his pants. He waited for a sign that he could proceed. For every kiss from River, the glow around Lucas seemed to stabilize and deepen, the flickering still there, but it wasn't uncertainty, but desire that made it happen. Taking a sudden deep breath as River's hand found the hem of his pants, he realized he had stopped breathing during the kisses, signals from his body he had never really felt before having taken all his senses. 

His eyes met River's, as he gave him a slight nod. It felt safe with River, to just allow himself to be guided into a part of life he knew very little about. This was what he had always been worried about, the part which River was coming too. He was different, and he hoped that River wouldn't find it horrible, or disgusting in some way. It was an irrational fear, he knew that River had seen him several times without clothing on by now.

oh man idk like theyre both v important to me in different ways but id say clarke bc she is so fucking strong all the time, like no matter what shes doing you can tell shes worried about everyone and is constantly thinking about how to help the people around her and how to better their situation, and you know that if she had the choice between her life and anyone else on the ark (and even some grounders *cough lexa cough*) she would totally choose safety for her people and that is so fucking important.
