Camellia, teaching her sisters about how to interact with humans: If you say "have a nice day," nobody will think twice about it. But if you say "enjoy the next 24 hours," they will probably feel threatened.
It is still wild to me that I have a graduate degree. A Master of Science in Nursing. Education. I just - I did that. With a lot of tears, a lot of aches and pains, struggles and lack of motivation... but I did it. And I hope it allows me to show one of my passions for teaching.
When I was young, I wanted to be a journalist or a third grade teacher. Something morphed in me and I headed towards medicine and found my true passion in nursing - especially for cancer patients. But nursing is everything, including teaching. And getting a graduate degree in teaching nursing - I'm in awe of how far I have come. I have been absolutely blessed.
