So if I understand this correctly: Bendy tries to kill Henry but also wants him to stay alive to become the Perfect Bendy, so I assume Joey's intentions (pulling Henry out of the puddles) come from his consciousness while "Bendy" is only motivated to kill anyone who crosses his path. Like how Alice operates as a separate consciousness telling Susie to make her perfect.

That’s one possibility. Bendy’s motivations aren’t super clear right now.
