i've had the worst day

i need to lie on the couch with robby, my head in his lap whilst he plays with my hair. he never pushes you to talk after a bad day, he's all too aware of the importance of taking time to cool down

without prompting, he puts on a show he knows you enjoy. something easy going and that requires minimal focus. his fingers swapping between tracing shapes on your back to playing with your hair; being lead by your sighs and movements

after an hour or so, he asks "wanna talk about it yet, baby?"

your voice is meek, unsure whether tears will follow, you simply shake your head against his thigh

"no problem baby, 'm not going anywhere"

Talked to the emt instructor at my school because I had my emt in the previous state I lived in but didn’t take my national cert exam because Life™️ and lowkey I feel like I’m gonna throw up and cry omg that was scary I feel like I know nothing and I’ve done everything wrong my entire life and that I’m actually the stupidest person alive and he wasn’t trying or meaning to do that I just always feel like that after talking to a man in EMS
