Did my drawing program start working normally? No. Did I push through and finish the page anyway? Yes.

MORTALIS PAGE TEN POSTS TOMORROW!!

For context: Weird black rectangles would randomly pop up on my canvas but they'd go away if I turned a layer (any layer) off and back on. It was happening yesterday eventing/night and continued into today (it's almost noon now) and it affected all of my drawings/canvases, not just one (I tested).

And this is far from the first issue I've had with this drawing program; this was just the final straw. I will be looking for a new drawing program that hopefully doesn't break every other day.

If anyone knows any drawing programs similar to aggie.io/magma that are free or at least cheap, I would greatly appreciate if you could share because I'm done with magma's bullshit.

I want to make a music album inspired by Mortalis but the genre would be so all over the place.

Finn's song(s) would be dark and orchestral, very reserved but deep and a lot of metaphors and wordplay

Cassian's song(s) would be energetic pop ballads full of raw, unbridled emotion. There would be a lot of vocal range and sort of acting almost - very clear and emotional and hyper with nothing held back.

Love your lore man been hiting a réal low with my worldbuilding that it helped write again

Sorry I sat on this for a couple days but I just didn't know how to respond (in a good way!!)

First off, thank you. I'm glad you like my lore because I pour my heart and soul into these stories (and then twist it into a knife I can stab my characters with :P)

Secondly, I think despite the simplicity of it, this may be the best compliment I've gotten. Pardon me for being a little profound (and sorry if I'm mistunderstanding) but helping someone continue to create is the best thing I can do with my art and I cannot express how this ask made me feel. Also hearing that people want to cosplay my characters (from the ask yesterday)?? It's incredible. My stories and characters and art and writing aren't only entertaining others, but inspiring them? It's more than I could ever hope.

Everyone hits lows with writing and art and everything, creative and not, but no one can make the things you make, so keep going! Only you can bring these stories into existence. Even if you're not happy with where it's at, it can get better. Keep going so one day you may inspire others. Keep going because no one else can. What's amazing about being creative is that every idea that you bring and every word that you write and character you draw is unique. If you hadn't made it, no one else would. Only you can bring your ideas to life.

I know a large part of having ocs and stories is making jokes and having fun, and it absolutely should be, but there is something profound about being able to create.

You bring to life ideas that no one else could, and every story, no matter how poorly thought out or full of plotholes or barely developed, is beautiful.
