I just can't decide on a favorite Voyager pairing (platonic). Janeway and Tuvok? Original besties, the wild young human officer and the staid, experienced Vulcan. Janeway and Chakotay? Fantastic dynamic, ultimate command team. Janeway and Seven? Classic pair-bond, do not separate, I Am Not Worth Saving versus I Will Always Save You. Seven and Tuvok? Unparalleled duo, mirrors in logic and respect and supporting one another through good times and bad. Seven and the Doctor? The two least human members of the crew teaching each other humanity, both thinking the other sucks at it. Tuvok and Neelix? The perfects foils, self-declared morale officer meets Vulcan logic and never. gives. up. Seven and Naomi Wildman? Who better to teach someone new to humanity manners than someone new to humanity herself? Adults assume fellow adults just "know" things - a child knows better that everything, especially social dynamics, are taught.
