I could sit here for hours talking about Tsunade. SHE IS MY GIRL! My best friend got me into Naruto a few years back, and it was all because he was watching that epic Sannin fight with my brother. As soon as I saw her I knew I had to give the anime (and eventually the manga) a real chance.

Since then, I’ve gotten the First Hokage’s necklace and I’m dying to get some cosplays together of Tsunade and Kakshi. *sigh* Perhaps someday...

I dunno...

I'm not worried about what we've been shown in these dream worlds. Firstly, it's a wide-scale genjutsu working on the worlds population, at some point there has to be diminishing returns on its strength. Plus, considering human nature, I highly doubt there's a true 'desire' that remains constant.

What I'm thinking, is, like the 'Limited Tsukuyomi', we are seeing their most immediate desires, merely scratching at the surface and working with recent memories and the like.

I mean, looking at Mei Terumi's dream, she's getting married, in front of the other Kage no less. The kage's have only been chummy for a very brief time.

Picking another at random, there's Lee. His is a defeated Naruto and Neji. What I can pull from this is, we're still fresh off of Neji's death, and Naruto has become so immensely strong in such a short time. Perhaps this is his immediate desire, for Neji to be alive, and to prove himself to his peers, Sakura especially.

He's always been about hard work, to prove that he's just as capable as any other despite his limitations.

Looking at Tenten now, for her it's Gai and Lee acting cool, dressing and styling as such. We've seen recently that without straight man Neji that their strong personalities might become overwhelming. What she wants is a manageable team, and obviously, Neji to be alive.

This one might be really reaching, so bear with me here, but let's tackle Shikamaru. What we see is his parents, Asuma, and Kurenai, with Temari beside him. He mentions marriage too troublesome to bother with. Subconsciously this could be his insecurities as a ninja popping up. The two couples he's had the most exposure to, to grow with over the years, have been terribly separated.

Asuma is gone, and now so is his father, Shikaku. He was there when Kurenai was notified, and he will be there when telling Yoshino the fate of her husband. Right now, I'm thinking he's afraid that if he does get married, that he will die, and leave the love of his life widowed and grieving.

I dunno, just speculating, so take my words with a few spoonfuls of salt.

#let's also remember Gaara #and Tsunade #the former had just been told recently that his mother did in fact love him deeply #and that his father regretted having put him through such strife #them and his siblings #and was proud he had friends #so what he see's is a life where everything was normal and happy #Tsunade #we have her talk with Dan #and the arrival of Orochimaru on the scene #in which he HELPED her back to health #who knows how many memories where drudged up due to this #sooooo #yeah #those are my thoughts
