Hayden smiles thankfully to River, feeling bad about both the hissing and the fact that he had to give away his food, looking at his brother. He knew they had their gift ready to be given after the song. He knew they thought they were going on a weekend away to Sulani for their Honeymoon, but he had managed to pull off his plan, with them taking care off the shelter for a week and a trip for a week to Selvadorada for them just to be the two of them.

“Oh.. I wonder that too.. and after, it stays an egg for a while still right?”

Hayle watches Vy, having eaten his food and cake and cookies, and half eyeing the icecream he knows is there just because he has a sweet tooth.

“One to three months, though I think we can hold it in longer and start hatching it inside, but it's not good, because while it's hatching it's hard inside us and in this form it's very uncomfortable.... The hatching of the egg takes longer, but it depends, it can take anywhere from three more months to a whole year. I'm not sure, I think it depends on the type of dragon. I hope it's only three months, I want to get to meet this lil one and I miss going to work.” “I think work misses you there too, we had some old ladies stopping by the Shelter to adopt some kitties that asked about you.”

River returns with his food and sits down next to them.

“Okay, got my food and I think it's cool you guys get to be parents. I can't see anyone more fit to be a parent than a doctor and a businessman.”

He smiles at Rylan.

“I think we'd make good parents too.” “You think huh?” “I think so, but give us time. When everything is settled, I'd very much like to be a parent”

He smiles at River, leaning against him as he has finished the food he brought.

“I agree though, you will be great parents.”

He knew they had lost one, his parents had told him, and he had a crying brother on his shoulder a couple of times from it just after, when Hayden didn't feel like worrying Vy, even though he knew Vy could feel it anyways. Hayden smiles at Vy, he had mentioned it to him before when he came home after that day, since they had all told him to wish him the best.

“And you're not alone in looking forward to meeting the little one, I think we all are.”
