The more I study Pagan's features the more I appreciate how aged they made him look. Especially back then if they had cut corners and made him look younger nobody would have batted an eye. But they said no he has defined forehead lines, a small scar on his cheek that faded with time, an aged neck still sharp jawline but getting softer, crows feet and textured skin.
If he had been younger and smoother looking nobody would have noticed.
But this man has lived a lifetime. Had a child. He is an older man and there's nothing strange about that. And considering how some games treated Asian characters back then, making an older and surprisingly down to minute details accurate Chinese man was a big thing.
