Oooooooh Oro East blue adoption spree?? Please!

SO, this is yet another extension of my "Roger's belongings magically find their way to Ace" AU, which has a couple chapters up over here of an Adoption Spree that's just focused on Oro picking up bby Straw Hats, but this version includes Makino and more grown-ups and Bonus Shenanigans :3

In the same style of calling Sanji 'Eggplant', Zeff has more nicknames for this wild bunch of pipsqueaks he now feels responsible for feeding:

Ace=Radish Luffy=Potato (pre-dates Potato Baby joke of recent fics which continues to amuse me) Sabo=Onion

(This is the only 'hunger in my blood' variant where I'm willing to indulge in Makino having red-haired twins because this one will end while they're still babies and I don't need to sort out two distinct personalities)

After it becomes a Known Thing that Gold Roger's ship is sailing around the East, supposedly being captain by woman who can enchant people against their will and steal children to siphon their souls or whatever, the marines resort to sending a skilled undercover operative to get better information/set a trap. It's just their bad luck (*cough*Sengoku and Garp being sneaky*cough*) that the officer sent is Donquixote Rocinante, recently recovered from injuries sustained at the disastrous end of his prior mission in the North Blue (which he is in no way trying to find an excuse to go back to, for No Particular missing kids reason).

This will be an opportunity for me to indulge in multiple fun little 'what if' backstories and also put Roci into Comical Situations, which is always a delight x'D
