i came out to my friend from nurse school when she visited over the weekend......shes been living in completely different cities in germany ever since we graduated so we barely see each other anymore but shes the only one from school i make an effort to stay in contact with. shes cishet and shes the first person ive actually...come out to. most people either know me as a woman from work or they know me as corvo. now going from one to the other. and she took is so well.......she only asked "corvo with c?" like what the hell. at first i was like wow nothing changed. and then i got dissapointed like.....nothing changed?? ITS WEIRD! you see and hear all these coming out stories when irl its all more subdued than that. at least for me. one time (after coming out) she jokingly called me a gentleman and that to me was like wowie.....maybe this means a lot to me after all.
