Stttttttoooooooop, I fucking adore Christa with my whole heart. I'm not going to have a damn novel, if only because we are fairly new to interacting, but. I have so much admiration for someone that takes a character that has so little screen time, and really makes them their own. I really hope we get more Travis in future seasons, especially considering he was in Angel's introductory scene, so he seemed so important per the pilot. But for right now we have like that scene and...him being a director...and that's it. So for Christa to run with that? And make it actually seem so real? Amazing. Like, I will not accept any other personality and back story for Travis when/if he is featured more in series. Christa's Travis is Travis, period.

I really admired her from afar for like, the longest time. I saw her interactions (especially on your posts) and would get all excited because I have been in this fandom since the pilot days and wanted nothing more than a Travis to write against Angel. But she was so perfect, and I would awkwardly like 'like' things on her page or make little ooc comments in hopes she would notice me. Today we had our first like fullblown conversation, and my dumbass wanted to pinch myself because this writer I have admired forever was actually talking to little old me.

And man, was that convo fun. We have so many ideas for our boys (not just Travis and Angel but ohhhhhh man when her Vox is done) and I cannot WAIT to be able to write more threads with her. Christa literally just has so much talent, really has the personality of her characters down, and just sdfjdlfs. I will hoard every single thread because I love them and I cannot wait to explore their dynamic. Plus like? Christa is??? So nice??? Just...I can't. Ten out of ten adoration here.

I remember first finding her blog and being nervous to follow then realizing she's a total sweetheart! I will never, never, ever regret following. First off I freaking love our conversations so much. I'll be real, I don't think I realized who Travis was when I first followed, I was just so intrigued by the writing I saw. The next thing I know I'm getting fed head canons left and right and they're so good! Never thought I'd be sitting here like, "damn, I really am liking this guy. I'm not supposed to? Heck you, I do!" We barely even see this guy and Christa breathes such life into his characterization. Her ideas for him are really interesting. Like with each new post, I can feel the depth of the character growing. She really took a 5-second side character and rounded out his entire backstory. Do you know how hard that can be??? She makes it look so easy.

You call me out for angst? I'm calling you out! Learning more about Travis and his backstory with Val hits me. Even if Angel is a little meh with him because of the Val connection, as well as he's the freaking director, I realize the more you tell me the more complicated he actually is. The fact that he's suffering in his own way whether he realizes it or not. You are making me feel things. Sorry, but he's not just a perverted bird. I don't care if he simps often, he has layers and it's because YOU gave them to him. You should feel really proud of yourself. It may be partially because I didn't realize who he was, but it is through everything you told me that I really do believe Angel isn't just gonna be casting him out and telling him to fuck off. I'm really grateful we get to explore a potential ship together, I feel so honored whether it be romance or friendship. I am just so happy I get to write with such a talented writer.

P.S. You are one of the nicest people I know. Writing is great but I'm really looking forward to building a friendship with you.
