I like to headcanon both him and Mira are supporters of Atlético de Madrid (Real Madrid’s “rival” other than Barça), and when it’s a Clássico Barça-Madrid, Mira probably goes for Madrid shame on you Mira xD, while Jackal will support one or the other depending on his mood/which team he thinks is playing better (or if he wants to annoy Mira, he’ll then pick Barça).

Well, if you insist, another idea:

During a mission Tachanka gets badly injured, and when he wakes up in the hospital, the first person that comes to check up on him (aside from the doctors) is Kapkan, berating him for being so reckless and getting injured just to push him out of the way. Turns out, Tachanka has amnesia and can’t remember who his friends are, but the doctors assure him it’s only temporary, that his memory will come back in time. But Tachanka isn’t worried, he’s already figured out that Kapkan is his partner, his boyfriend, right? Spoilers: nope, they weren’t together before the accident, but Kapkan hasn’t found the right moment to bring up the issue yet... he’s not sure he wants to tell him, in fact.
