- In the beginning of your relationship, he'd be having a hard time getting used to it.

- at first he doesn't hate it but doesn't love it either but just let's you and just stands there like 🧍‍♂️ ...

- once he gets used to it, he absolutely lovess it!! doesn't full on give you the same energy but he's just really smiley and hugs you back.

- doesn't mind when you're always beside him, loves the company and actually gets used to not being alone all the time

- one day he comes home exhausted from practice and he plops onto the bed beside you, giving you a bigg hug. this takes you by surprise because he has never initiated physical touch before this.

- you just lean into the hug and try to comfort him as much as you can without saying a word, he's been more open to physical touch ever since :(

- you always hold his hand and by this point he's comfortable with it, when he notices you're not holding his hand when you're together he holds yours.

- no mater how long you're together, he never stops getting flustered when you hug him from the back or randomly cling onto him

- one time, he was in the kitchen washing his hands and you started hugging him from behind without saying a word.. he turned into a tomato.

- the members are confused tbh, they don't know how you broke/glitched him into becoming as clingy as you.. he doesn't even let them come up from behind him

- cuddles in bed are the absolute best with him, he uses all of the hugs he has gathered up by not using them over the years when you cuddle in bed

- likes giving you his hoodies when you do this, but sprays your perfume on it so he can smell your scent when he cuddles into you <3

"ow, shit!" you curse as you drop the tool on the ground. the metal clattering on the floor.

the gouge only made a small cut in your finger, but it stung a lot.

your friend jo, who was silently working beside you, looks up at the commotion.

"jo, can you go with her to get a bandaid?" your teacher calls out from the other side of the room. she as well had been busy patching up students here and there.

jo nods, and walks with you to the nursery.

"how come you haven't even cut yourself once, jo?" you ask him as he searches for bandaids.

"you have to carve away from you, not to you." he states as if it was the most logical thing. you had seem him working on his own stamp, and it was an absolute masterpiece.

your admiration for his art was beyond words. how he could draw anything he wanted within minutes.

"come over here, i found the bandaids."

if jo had to be honest he had always thought love wasn't something for him. in middle school he was surrounded with guy friends, not a single girl was interested in interacting with him.

that was until he started high school. a new school meant new chances, and soon enough he had become friends with you.

"are you just going to stand there?" you call out. he's awoken from his thoughts and hands you the bandaid.

but if jo had to be even more honest he would've said something else. how your laugh lights up something in him that makes him laugh as well. how even you calling out his name made him feel on top of the world.

he couldn't describe the liking he took in you. it was just too overwhelming for him, like the wind had been knocked out of him.

"done! we can go back now. i'll try to carve away from me."

jo's heart was beating in his throat. this was his moment, just the two of you, alone.

"uh, wait." he could see you freeze in the doorway.

"yeah?"

"i think i'm in love with you." he blurts out before he could even think about it. "wait, that wasn't supposed to come out like that-"

"you're so silly, jo. don't panic, because i love you too."

the words that came out of your mouth that day was never really something jo had imagined. so he just smiled, as bright as he could, and hoped to see that same bright smile on your face as well.

you sniffle silently in your room, using the sleeves of your sweater to wipe your tears off your face when you start to hear footsteps walking towards your bedroom. you turn around from your desk, now facing your bedroom door as you watch jo slowly open the door. after closing the bedroom door from behind him, he looked up from his phone, his eyes finding your face covered in tears.

in a moment of seconds, his face turns from relaxed to concern. he breathes in, making to keep himself calm before speaking up, "y/n? what happened?" he says in a soft tone, sitting down on the bed next to your desk.

somehow, every time you're feeling down you don't feel the need to break down unless someone points it out or asks about it. that one, innocent question was all it took for you to break down crying in jo's arms.

tears start pouring down your face while jo holds you in his arms. "it's okay, love." he starts rubbing circles on your shoulder while you sob. "I'm- so tired, jo. I'm so tired." you managed to say, he nods, "I know. I know."

you continue to cry while he tries to comfort you, after 15 minutes he's gotten you to calm down, bringing you a glass of water and rubbing your back.

once you're back to a stable condition, he asks you once again, "what happened?"

you look at him with so much exhaustion in your eyes, "I'm just so tired, jo. these past few months I've done nothing but study and study yet I still have so much to do. I feel so worn out, I just wanna rest."

he simply nods, listening and trying to understand you more. "I understand, y/n." he says, reaching out for you hand and creasing your thumb with his. "how about this, lets get ice cream this saturday and watch movies and on sunday I'll help you study? how does that sound?"

you hug him, suddenly. "thank you so much jo."

"I love you more than anything." he whispers into your ear.

though jo doesn't say much, you've never felt as if he didn't love you. he does everything to let you know he loves you and that you're appreciated.

seeing as you're always on his mind, it's hard for him to not bring you back something whenever he goes out

*sees something you might like* "i should get this for y/n..."

everything this always y/n, y/n, y/n. members are TIREDDD of hearing it honestly... but they love you and they love seeing jo happy.

he always makes sure you eat, no mater where he is how far he is from you he will not rest unless you have eaten. if your time zones are veryy different he'll wake up in the middle of the night just to ask you if you've eaten.

and every time you say "no" magically someones calling your number saying your already paid food is outside..🧍‍♀️

when he comes home with you already asleep, he joins you in the bed and always lays on the side that you're facing, he likes to see you peacefully sleeping and he simply just likes cuddling that way (as said in this post from twt)

when he has time, he makes simple crafts and give them to you, sometimes you even do it together:] like when he made a craft that looked like digital camera and when you opened it, had all of your polaroid pictures you've collected over the years (it looks like this)

lastly, he makes songs about you!! >.< he's written about 1,000 songs about you collected along with the ones he made predebut. he'll never tell anyone else but he finds writing songs about you very easy, he also likes it better than actually saying it.

as his introverted self he doesn't like talking much so, he puts his words into songs and sing them to you. ♡︎
