After finally finishing writing The Comeback, my brain keeps latching onto the idea of a Beauty and the Beast Heascale AU:
- Pascale being part of a foster home run by Maria, who only does so for the money. But when Maria stumbles across Heath’s castle, she attempts to rob it, and is caught. In order to not stay his prisoner, she offers Pascale up instead.
- Rather than being the typical beast like in the original, Heath would be more like a harpy. (In reference to his Internationals costume.)
- He got this curse from some of his old friends when he turned against them due to how they let royalty and power get to their heads. Despite the fact his other friends, even Ozzy’s sibling, did nothing to them, they were also caught up in it.
- Izzy and Anthony being like Lumiere and Cogworth, Along with Jett being Mrs. Potts, who looks after Bobby (Chip), her little brother, instead of her son.
- Heath doesn’t see Pascale as a way to lift the curse. Really he’d rather she isn’t there. But someone had to pay for Maria’s crimes. And yet, he can’t help falling for her as it goes on.
- Him having that massive library as he is an avid reader in this universe too, and finds out Pascale is as-well. This brings them closer together.
- Remy (Gaston) being a thorn in her side and sets out to fight Heath when Maria comes back talking about all he “did” to her. Gui is by his side.
- Gui would eventually have enough of him and help Heath’s group in the fight against the villagers when they eventually learn Maria was true. And a small moment would happen between him and Ethan when he sees Ethan in his human form.
- Instead of Pascale heading back because she thought Maria was in danger, Heath would just set her free on his own accord. She isn’t certain she wants to go and does it reluctantly.
- Heath’s face wasn’t covered much by his curse, so his transformation back wouldn’t he as drastic. But, his human form would live up much more to his Harpy form than Beast’s one did!
- (Small other thing you can imagine is that the power trio were all “taken care of” by Maria but did not want to help in the fight. After it, they, along with a few of the other villagers, are welcomed to the castle and that’s when Ariana would meet Jett. Same with Adele and Anthony.)
