I can only imagine the psychic damage poor Anders Eljas—who orchestrated both, who has never orchestrated a Broadway show since, probably from the Trauma—endured that day.

"Chess in concert", Dalhalla in Sweden, July 4 + 5. The role of the American/Freddie is played by Anders Ekborg. I LOVED him in the Stockholm production of Chess, where he played the American AND understudied the Russian. I got to see him in both roles, and I really love this man on stage. He's a classical actor turned musical singer, and brings a lot to all roles he plays. Others participating is Gunilla Backman (Florence), Philip Jalmelid (The Russian), Sarah Dawn Finer (Svetlana) and Johan Schinkler (Molokov). Oh, and Anders Eljas, AKA ABBA-musician-original-musical-arrangor-for-chess-and-kristina-AND-conductor-of-multiple-ABBA-musicals, is the musical conductor. http://www.blixten.se/musik/chess-in-concert
