Rorschach being 35 in movieverse might not make that much sense, but I kinda like it because 1) it means he never really had a restful period of his adult life. He got out of school and then immediately immersed himself in vigilantism. It feels appropriate for him. 2) Baby Rorschach running around fighting crime, having to hide his age by altering his voice. Hence the gravelly quality. 3) Him and Laurie being around the same age, which makes their banter ten times funnier to me tbh.

Whatever was going on with Irving and Anders was so sick too. He pitied the boy at first, went as far as offer him "outdoor time" as if it wouldn't make the homesickness even worse. Requested that templars treat him with "greater kindness" but there's only so much you can change about a cage. And the moment he shifted towards imposing templar scrutiny was when Karl was taken away and he could tell that Anders had nothing else to lose. Like the fact that one capture later he would be in solitary confinement for a fucking year is insane. "When asked if he regretted not punishing him [Anders] with Tranquility, Irving only sighed and would not discuss the matter further" like it's sickening. It's sick that thing needed to be blown up.

if the dragon age writers really wanted me to kill anders they shouldnt have put him on a little crate like that. you have everyone freaking out about the chantry boom and it’s all dramatic but in the background there’s this sad, sopping wet cat of a man sitting so politely. i mean-
